Terms of use

These terms apply to the 2026 Scatter Maths HSC Mathematics Standard 2 founding product.

The service

Scatter Maths provides short maths-practice questions, progressive hints, calculator guidance, worked answers, reminder emails and progress summaries. It is a study aid and does not replace a school, teacher or individual tutoring relationship.

Founding access

The 2026 HSC offer is a single A$29.99 payment for one learner's ongoing access, with no scheduled expiry and no automatic renewal.

The optional A$10 SMS reminder add-on runs through 30 November 2026. SMS reminders require a valid Australian mobile number, can be disabled from the dashboard, and include carrier-standard opt-out instructions.

Purchaser and learner access

The purchaser may use the access themselves or assign it to one learner. A purchaser under 18 must understand the purchase and have any permission required from their parent or guardian. Private access links must not be posted publicly or shared beyond the learner and an invited supporter.

Progress reports

The learner may choose to share progress information with an invited parent, carer or other supporter. Reports describe activity recorded by the service but cannot prove that a particular person completed an attempt without assistance.

Educational results

We work to make questions and solutions accurate, but no educational outcome, examination mark or grade is guaranteed. If an error is found, please report it so it can be corrected promptly.

Refunds

A founding purchase may be cancelled for a full refund within 14 days of payment by emailing support, unless a longer remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Acceptable use and content

Access is for the enrolled student's personal learning. Users must not scrape the service, copy or resell the question collection, interfere with security, or use automated tools to create excessive traffic.

Changes and availability

We may improve questions, presentation and features over time. Ongoing access means there is no scheduled account expiry; it is not a promise that an online service can operate unchanged forever. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and, where practical, provide a useful export, transfer path or other remedy consistent with Australian Consumer Law.

Contact and operator

These terms are between the purchaser and Timothy Hugh Donnelly, sole trader, ABN 69 381 284 479, registered business name Y DON'T U, trading as Scatter Maths. Contact hello@scattermaths.com.au.
